What about adding a new switch to go with -m, to specify the name of the hashing algorithm to be used? Or maybe just a switch to specify the fnv1a algorithm without supporting any other if they are not so great.
That would be good and interesting to give the opportunity to specify the algorithm that you wanna use for hash but i "think" it will need a decade to be added because it will be very hard.
Example:
On
/hadd and
/hmake:
-aN = If not N then use default. if N = 1 then use X algorithm, if N = 2 then X algorithm , etc...
