About the first part... you're not alone with that opinion.. even if I would not publish that, we're all humans and I guess, a private message would have done the job, too.

As far as I could get it, you just propose to add DCX to mIRC as a third party application, without really implementing it into the source code...
Why don't people simply write a short script that checks for the DLL being available and, if it's not, downloads it on load?
Seriously, that's not that much code... maybe 50 lines.

Including community projects is a step too far... That makes no sense, you can't just add all features you like to the programm by default - mIRC is made for chatting, not to teach people creating dialogs properly...
The amount of people who actually use DCX in their addons is rather little..
And those people who try to use a script referring to DCX - well, they were able to get the script, how difficult can it be to download DCX after that?
I guess, thats what the "readme" idea has been made for... (or, as already mentioned, sockets.)
