You could delete the linesep char, then have an ON NOTICE event that chips in with a linesep when ($nick != %prev.nick), after figuring out whether the output goes to Status Window. Since this isn't halting the event, it lets the other scripts modifying event messages to do their own. As long as your EVENT is at the top of the scripts list, it shouldn't be appearing between the 1st and 2nd scripted echo.
