I'm glad to see some one agree with me. Also please don't get too off topic.
Lastly if mirc doesn't ever break backwards compatibility it can't move forward (not that i feel this change would do anything bad). That's why scripts should/do include what versions they work with. If it doesn't work with a new version tough luck, fix it or bug the creator to fix it.
