Uhm, no. Stating that this is a 'general discussion' forum isn't part of the forum rules, it's an opinion (or rather, obvious fact) that keeps being given, quite deliberately to start arguments. Stating that file sharing is 'bad' is also an opinion, however, we don't help with illegal file sharing on this forum, which is what is stated over and over again - and it's repeated, because people keep asking about it, so we have to keep informing.
The fact that this is a general discussion forum doesn't mean it's a place where people can ask things that we don't help with.
