Requesting a followup on the development and deployment of /fupdate. So far, I and a lot of people are loving the new behavior. I still don't claim to entirely grasp the algorithm, nor whether it can/should be improved upon, I would like to see it eventually become a default behavior that users don't have to turn on or script for.

At the same time, the 'smooth scrolling' feature might also be removed as obsolete if /fupdate, with its sliding intensity, can address those issues at the same time. I do think there is enough of a discrepancy between /fupdate 1 and /fupdate 100, it could perhaps use some improvement to negate the need for a number all together, even if this involves nesting of sliders.

I'm instructing a lot of people to put ON *:START: FUPDATE 100 in their remotes.

Well. At least I won lunch.
Good philosophy, see good in bad, I like!
