I'm not sure why I didn't post my support earlier. This sounds like a useful and moderately easy-to-implement feature. I would appreciate it, as well as an option to make default /part behavior avoid closing the window (perhaps requiring another switch to "force" the window closed--though the sub-window X would still operate normally).
