He just said it was a [email:user@somesite
.name]user@somesite
.name[/email] address.
Many primative scripts still check to make sure a TLD (top-level domain) is no longer than 3 letters, or that it matches a list of known TLDs... thus rejecting .info .name .arts, etc.

PS. Why didn't they add .SEX .XXX .PORN or any of the other proposed variants, considering 80% of the internet is funded by the stuff.
PSS. I also notice this forum has a problem parsing email addresses ending .name. When you goto edit your post... it doesn't reverse the <a href> tag as it normally should.
