mirc 6.1 has a bug in the helpfile, some texts there are confused
for example in: /help introduction

Which part exactly?

I found this too, the reason being I copied the mirc.exe to another mirc directory with an older mirc (to replace it), and forgot to replace the mirc.hlp, meaning the help file would point to the wrong things (and in some cases pop up a "no such topic" error).

well, i didn't do that. i installed that mirc to a new directory.

This seems fine here, using "/help section" is opening the correct section in the help file for me.

You'll you have to upload your locally stored image to a webserver and link from that. There are plently of free hosting web servers out there, although many of them have leeching protection.

Perhaps try www.geocities.com www.brinkster.com www.tripod.com www.lycos.com (all these of the top of my head), I am not sure if they have leeching protection or not... otherwise try a search on www.google.com

Most, if not all of those, deny external linkage.
