Forums Bug Reports Login issue after update to 7.49

Hi!

After updating and reconnecting Mirc 7.49 i got following error:

170527.20:16:39 !!! Welcome -> psyBNC2.3.2-9
170527.20:16:40 !!! -psyBNC -> Your IRC Client did not support a password. Please type /QUOTE PASS yourpassword to connect.

Looks like another behaviour with logins in the new version.

With 7.48 all worked fine, at the moment, i rolled back to this version.

What is a solution for this issue?

Thanks for your bug report. I just tested using a server password to log onto a server and it worked fine. Please see my reply to this thread.

thanks for your reply, i now could solve the issue for me:

In 7.48 there was under Add/Edit Servers only one password item and a method listbox. My password was in there and method was server pass.
In 7.49 there are now two password items and the methods listbox no longer has the server pass entry.
So i just put my password in the first password item too and it works after that.
