Forums Scripts & Popups External script editor?

I know this is a strange question, but are there any external/3rd party mIRC script editors out there? When I code or script I just prefer to use seperate apps for some reason.

No problem at all, thanks. Anyone else have anything to add? I tend to experiment with things like this to see which suites me best.

I'm loving mEditor so far, it's a really nice app!

I would take a backup of all your script files right now, as it's possible it deletes all of em.

Really, any text editor would work if you don't care about automatic formatting (i.e. you insert your own spacing -- don't use TAB to space something out), and if you don't want color-coded script.

I still use mIRC's Script Editor. Hehe.

Honestly, I'd love to use VIM (windows version) with mIRC script. <3 VIM.

I've just found a dll that modifies the build in script editor and adds syntax highlighting ... so far it works great, but ... and that's a big BUT i don't know how safe it is.
