In my "my documents" folder all of the folder names are not showing up, I can only see the icons. Every other folder is fine and windows has been restarted about 15 times since this started happening, does anyone know what I've done?
Try going into a folder that's working normally and go to Tools > Folder Options > View tab > and click Apply to All Folders. See if that helps (you need to have the Documents folder closed when doing this). If not, I have no idea. I've never seen that happen.
I suppose another option is to try right clicking the icon and choosing Rename and see if changing the name (or even just leaving it as-is) will help.
