Basically, you aren't sending the ident because either the ident isn't turned on, or you (or your host) is blocking port 113 in a router or firewall, or your response to ident takes too long for some reason. The only way to connect to a server that requires ident is to get your ident to send properly. It is possible that there is at least one server on gamesurge that doesn't require ident, but I wouldn't put too much hope in that. Invision Support #Invision on irc.irchighway.net

I had the same problem, at one point, found that my router was blocking 113, contacted the appropriate tech support, opened the port, and was able to connect about an hour later with no problems.
