OP Cerestes Bowl of petunias C Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 2	Can't figure this one out -- mIRC seems to work fine for hours on end. Connection is completely stable. Open up an internet based video game, like CounterStrike:Source, and my IRC connection drops almost immediately. Anyway to fix this?

DV8 Vogon poet D Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 132 Under your bed!	It's probably because the game is eating up most of the connection's bandwidth and the IRC server isn't recieving a ping reply (pong) from you so it disconnects you.
