Like Landon, i find the second editbox handy in channels where i dont keep a separate opchat window. Often i may start typing a post to opchat, but need to stop to answer someone in the channel. With the second editbox i can do that easily and not lose whatever track my train of thought was on. also cuts down on accicently posting things to the channel when i meant it to go to opchat
mIRC has so many features and no one uses them all, but nice to have them for those who do like them.
