I've noticed it freeze. I run atleast 2 mircs at once, 6.03 which is a trivia bot and 6.1 which is me, both have ran for atleast a week without my touching the computer and niether have frozen up. Possibly it is mirc is drainging your resources through a script, So id suggest what was mentioned above. Turn off your remotes and see what happens.
