It really isnt a good idea to tell ppl to randomly delete stuff in their registry, and to not even advise them to make a backup first made me shudder. While its possible the original poster is quite capable of mucking about in their registry, its not a good idea to assume that.
To the original poster: i would do some investigating about what/where those scripts effect so you can be sure you delete everything. You can try googling it for starters. I'm unclear as to whether you are trying to delete scripts added to your valid copy of mIRC, or if something installed a fake mIRC and thats what you're trying to get rid of.
