You are only sued for millions for being a Good Samaritan. If someone is hurt, DONT TOUCH THEM. Lawyers will convince them that their chronic back pain was YOUR fault. By law, you cannot dispute someone who claims to suffer from back pain.
Maybe in your country, but in the majority of US states there is what is called a "Good Samaritan Law" which states that you can not be held criminally or monetarily responsible for harm inflicted on a person while attemption to help them. Obviously exceptions exist, if an EMT decides to start rolling a guy with a back injury around, they can be held responsible, but that is because they have been given proper training in what should be done and have decided to neglect their training.
