WARP usually means the thing is running the software rasterizer; either because the application is flagged to run as such (which is usually a developer-only option by running dxcpl.exe and entering it in a list) or because no display adapter is active, so the whole system is running using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.

Have you tried any of those to see if you can reproduce the crash?

Also @OP: are your GPU drivers up2date and working?
