If you are rich then you could try an IRCd that is developed for Windows, most of which have point and click setup routines lasting about 30 seconds. I recommended Dreamforge before because it is very small, perhaps light on features, as codemastr said hasn't been developed for a long time now which is why, however if you are only using it for one specific purpose on a LAN then it should serve the purpose well. It is upto you though.
