Forums mIRC Help Using mIRC over LAN as chat client

I would really apreciate some more information
(maybe a few links?) about what Dreamforge is
and how to set it up.

Also... Is using mIRC instead of a standard LAN chat
client a viable solution? I wanted to do that so I could
chat with people on my LAN and at the same time over
the Internet. Can a server that I created be available over
the Internet?
