Well if you are going to make it available over the internet I would NOT recommend Dreamforge. It hasn't been developed in years and it has known problems. I would recommend UnrealIRCd (
www.unrealircd.com) but I must admit I am biased seeing as I am one of the authors of UnrealIRCd
