Actually, there IS a right ALT on US keyboards. Only a very few keyboard layouts in the US have an ALT GR key. I've only seen in on Acer laptops. And even on those, that key works as an ALT key anywhere that doesn't use ALT GR. As was mentioned before regarding this, it should either be optional or should be based on the keyboard layout chosen in Windows. mIRC should not force it to not work as an ALT key. I can't think of any other program that does this. Yes, it *may* be forced in countries where ALT GR is commonplace and where the software is designed primarily for them and not for international audiences. But not in software designed for international use, or at least not major software. It should either be changed back to what it was or it should be changed to optional or layout-based.
