(1) A default window behaviour is not a bug. Given the functionality of the log window, a desktop window makes sense-- "on top" might not be a sensible default *to you*, but that does not make it a bug.
I don't share that opinion. It is a bug for me too as long as there is no possibility to disable this annoying "always on top"-behaviour as default for the logviewer. Am I missing an option for that? I have tried to disable it by removing the checkmark of an open logview-window, but next time it is back. I have "Open windows on top by default" disabled under Display=>Options which does (intentionally?) have no effect. Either way there
should be an option to get rid of that "always on top" if desired. I don't mind if it stays the default for new mIRC installations but it needs to be adjustable for the user
somehow as this obviously is annoying for more than one person out there.
