IRCops are there to run the server and nothing else.
Well, what exactly is your description of running a server?
Having been an ircop for a few years, I can't think of much
else to do if not helping people and dealing with dickheads
like the one mentioned above. Actually, there is nothing else
to do, except for maybe to abuse your oper powers and joke
kill your friends (and enemies)
and act like you're god of all
creation because you have access to a few more commands
than the normal user. Also, most opers local and global alike,
do nothing about this kind of stuff because they have no clue
what to do.
