Ignoring CTCPs is not ignoring CTCP Version.

The only way to affect a specific CTCP request is through CTCP Events, see /help ctcp events - However, you cannot use that event to halt the CTCP version reply, mIRC will still send the default version reply.

There is no need to hide your version of mIRC or take away Khaled's credit, some channels will even ban you from their channel if you don't reply to CTCP version. Credit where credit's due.
