In the case that a Personal Message conversation is actualy looked at is probably only for security reasons only. Assuming they *found* out about a user who was out to harm the network, they'd probably want to look into the conversations that user had with other people. I hightly doubt network admins go around looking for peoples conversations, also, as nalAAlan said, when connecting to a server you do accept their rules and regulations, you really shouldn't worry about things like this. If a network admin has time to look at conversations rather then caring for the network, thats just kinda creepy. I have never been to that network, if its a large network, i highly doubt the conversations are looked at all the time. That would be a pain in the ass for any IRC Operator or Admin to deal with. Its no differnt then AIM's Terms of Service smile read that sometime.
