I charge $25 per hour and round it to the next hour.
Very resonable in this area considering most people charge
at least double that and could have the machine for a couple
of weeks or longer. My turnaround is usually under 48 hours,
sometimes longer but not often. Also most places charge
their hourly rate from the time they put the machine on the
bench until they are finished with it, like maybe starting a
hdd scan and leaving it to go have lunch or work on another
machine, I do not, I only charge for time I actually spend
working on the machine. My bill is usually very low .. depending
on what needs done. If someone brings me a machine
because their kid was surfing for porn and now it's slowed
to a crawl .. chances are there will be more time into it.
