You can use several resources found in
this thread, make sure you use 2-3. Read up about firewalls too, and make sure you have all the latest Windows Updates from
www.windowsupdate.com to help ensure security.
To pick up on what greeny said though, this entire board is mIRC-related, we can't and (generally) don't deal with viruses, we can't guarantee that the information you get will not break your computer, so it's best to leave it to the big companies who specialise in that topic.
