I would like to be able to use the finger server for simple information access. While /finger <nick> works fine for the user [default], there is currently no easy way to finger another user - Currently someone has to /finger <user>@<IP> and is unable to use the much simpler but currently unimplimented /finger <user>@<nick>.
I would like to see this feature included in a future release of mIRC. In the meantime I have been trying to get an alias to the same effect working but I have been unable. Could anyone help ?
