Forums mIRC Help help in downloading stuff

I have started using mirc, but having problems downloading stuff. I normally select item to download and enter "/msg [WG]-3S0003 xdcc send #2" but which then responds back saying " package has been sent..." but afterwards i get a message saying "You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer. (150 seconds remaining until timeout)", why do I get this and how can I resolve it.

Also on the channel console I get "DCC Send from [WG]-3S0003 rejected (Dawn.Of.The.Dead.2004.UNRATED.DVDRip.XViD-RiVER.tar, file type ignored)" as I was trying to dowload this movie.
I have checked everywhere are cant find where to change this. Could anyone help
