OK, I have a new wireless ISP. They provide me with a router, which I suppose that I can not configure (I haven't tried). Hooked to their router I have a wireless home network router, which I can configure for mirc as described by the d-link site. If I use the signal from my router, hooked to the ISP's router, I get two different ISP's when I /dns and //say $ip. When I just use the signal from the ISP's router I get the same ip, but still can't DCC send. I suppose because their router isn't configured for mirc. I was thinking about trying to just not use the ISP's router and just use mine which is configured for mirc, but I wonder what kind of problems that will cause. Or I read about someone using a bouncer from a shell provider. If any of this makes sense, I really need some help trying to get it all to work. Thanks.

Can you not access the router through a web browser?
i.e. http://192.168.1.1 or what ever your default address is?

Then setup port forwarding to your machine.. ?

Let me ask the question another way. Is it possible to tell what the settings are on a router when you don't have the password to access the router?
