ok i need a code to finish my a part in my script
how would i like move a text in a fserve to a dialog, well i have an idea but i need a way to do anything to the fserve text, i dont no wat to use like on text but thers not fserve thingy like # * or ?
and dccserver is U not the other person any ideas?

An fserve is essentially nothing but a DCC chat session. That means you can either use on TEXT or on CHAT. Do you have any solid arguments for not wanting to use on TEXT?

I would probably guess the fact that ON TEXT/CHAT doesnt work for an fserve event would be be a solid argument.

There is however, ON SERV;

On *:SERV:*:{ echo -s - $nick said: $1- }

Will echo all the text said by $nick into the status window.

on TEXT used to work, may or may not anymore. on CHAT still works for me...

ON TEXT, does not work.

ON SERV works when the 'person connected to the fserv' types something into it.

ON CHAT, only works when the fserv says something to the person who is CONNECTED to the fserv.
