Well how many channels are being listed? If you're talking thousands then of course its going to take a while!

Your post is also in the wrong forum really, this forum is for script and popup related questions and problems wink

A few things:

1) Please do not cross post. It causes confusion amongst people if several people are helping on the boards at the same time. It's also likely to get you flame replies and it's unnecessary.

2) I've moved this thread to the 'mIRC Help' forum where you originally posted, I was a bit hasty with the ole' delete button.

3) milosh suggested in one of your other threads that it may occur if you're using a dial-up connection.

I don't quite see why you're angry? Seems a bit unnecessary to me, especially over 5 minutes...

Anyway, it bears no relevance to this thread - if you have a problem with a post's deletion, please private message the moderator that deleted the post.

You can also check to see if safelist is in the 005 on the
server you're connected to. safelist means /list is sent
in multiple iterations so as not to flood and kill the clients
connection. If this is not there it could explain your problem
if it is a big list, especially on dialup.
