Firstly, there is no need to use all CAPS - that's considered shouting and rude
- We can read lowercase text just as well.
When a DCC Get fails it's usually due to the sender - try and get a file off of another friend and see if that works. You could also try typing
/localinfo -u - other problems that could occur with receiving files are listed
here.
The problem is usually on the sender's end as I said however - they might also try typing /localinfo -u, as an IP mismatch is a common issue. If it still doesn't work then it's very likely a firewall or router issue. Send the person sending you the file to
this thread. Remember, if you can get a file from one person but not from another then it is definitely the sender and not you.
