i think that if mirc is gonna have group controls, then they should work like group controls.. and group the controls that are in it, like VB does

Care to elaborate for those of us who don't use Visual Basic?

If you mean add automatic behaviour to things like radio buttons so that only one inside a group box can be switched on I think it's better to leave it up to the scripter. A group box could be used to contain several different sets of radio buttons and it would be very annoying if they couldn't be used like that.

Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

sure thing smile best way is to show you the example.

http://irc.mtec89.com/ex.rar <--- full souce and compiled example.

just click any where in in the frame (blank space) and drag it around. VB keeps all the controls where they were placed at dev time, because they were put into the control group

edit: im NOT saying that the group should be dragable im mirc (it isnt in VB) i added some code that let it be dragable.

edit 2: aww [censored]... i just realized.. that would be the feature of a mirc dialog editor... not mirc script smirk

edit 3: mirc needs a internal script editor and dialog editor. theres no if ands or buts in this case. NEED. not want.

edit 4: stay tuned to ex.rar because i have a idea that it actually is a mirc script suggestion.

edit 5: check the example now. drag the controls around. the ONLY code i added, was simply to allow the control to be dragged around by its ear
