I am having connection issues at home, though not at office.

I get disconnected only when there is limited action on the channels I am logged into. In teh afternoon, when action heats up and have a chance of staying connection through out. So is there a way to make to software ping to keep the connection aactive ?

Or is there a busy channel, which could be suggested I connect to, so to keep me connected !?!?!

There is a thread just above yours titled 10053 error, Software caused connection abort, please take the time to look at the sticky threads before posting wink - It has many suggestions on how to solve your issue.

If you feel that being in a popular channel will help, try /list >300 and then choose one of the top channels. If you're on a big network you could get away with /list >500. You can keep pinging yourself with a timer, /timer 0 300 .ctcp $me ping where '300' is 5 minutes (300 seconds).

G'luck.
