Hey everyone,

I have seen it on MS IE, (duh), and I thought it would be pretty cool if you could change it to how IE's is.

Dang it.. I wasn't descriptive. No wonder you didn't know what I was talking about... Hehe.

What I meant to suggest was mIRC's scrollbars to have the ability to change their colors like IE's.
Lawl.

And come to think of it, if there could be a way to change the color of mIRC's light brown color for dialogs and stuff. And, a way to change the backround color or add an image to the switchbar buttons. You can change the switchbar image/color, but the buttons is still light brown. ( As far as I know)

Doesn't mIRC take this from Windows' settings? My dialogs are light grey...

Normally the dialogue colour comes from Windows, as Pastmaster said, though I do remember the slightest tinge of brown in Windows 2000 whereas Windows 98 had a greyer grey. I once wrote a mIRC script which solved the problem though. All the dialogues were woodgrain, just like grandma's antique furniture :-) And I didn't use MDX either, that's for boys. Just use a humble 'icon'. The downside is you have to make them yourself and tailor-make them for each dialogue.

I'd also like the ability to color the scrollbar very much. It would look great when used with MTS themes or the like smile

Most people don't like using dlls, therefore "google somedll" isn't a great answer.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Altho I know you can't change the color of the switchbar on mIRC, you ARE able to use a picture file. So, if you just maked 1 x 1 pixel bitmap and tiled it, i guess you could sorta call it a color change.
Yet, even with that, the buttons on the switchbar are configured to how your windows is set. Which is kinda ugly. Anyway, it was just a thought on the top of my head.

What is it "Winblinds"? To mention one. Although that would be user specific. MDX is a well known and trusted .dll. It can do what you want it to do. Personally I like the traditional look.
