The|Back| (DALNet #mirc) alerted me to this problem...it sounds like it has had a previous airing, but it hasn't been fixed yet:
raw 321:*: { echo -s caught and halted 321 | halt }
raw 322:*: halt
raw 323:*: { echo -s caught and halted 323 | halt }
the 322 halts the listing of channel names, but 321 (start of list) and 323 (end of list) do not catch their respective raws.
example results from Efnet (Undernet and DALnet give similar results, and presumably other nets too)

I presume that the channels window is opened on receipt of a 321, and it would not if 321 were correctly halted.
