An identifier to return the current line in the file that is passed through /filter (if you are using the -k switch) would be nice.
AFAIK there is no possibility to get the current line, is there?

There should be a way:
  • "The -n switch prefixes lines with a line number"
...but a funny bug makes it prefix the lines with the wrong number.
