At weird times, my mirc'll (6.15) just freeze up in a hard lock. The only thing that gets me out of it is a task manager visit. This NEVER happened before 6.15 AND I have NOT changed anything since EXCEPT to try to nail down the issue. Can anybody give me any idea to halt a broken script without task managering it? We USED to be able to Pause/break it but I cant anymore and this is really annoying since I cant give any details on how/when it's happening.

EDITED

Weirdest thing is that it hardlocks when mirc's the active app. When I try to Pause/break it nothing happens forcing a task manager visit

I have reverted back to 6.14 cause I cant begin to imagine what the issue is tho Im willing to try some things on another copy of mirc to try to duplicate this if anybody has any suggestions

Do you use any DLLs? A double Ctrl+Break still works fine for me to halt scripts, so if it was a script that was locking up it shouldn still be haltable.

No, I dont run any dll's at all and my mirc is totally scripted on by me so Im 100% it's not that. However I WAS able to narrow it down to a script issue (fully duplicated) and since then, shut off said scriptlet.

settings > "IRC" > "Messages" and turn off the "SJIS/JIS conversion".
