Forums mIRC Help eggbot won't respond

I've finally managed to run an eggdrop on my channel(windrop). I'm running the bot local, i've already did /msg <botname> hello and set up my pass. now i need too configure it with dcc chat, but everything i use that, he says this:
Chat with Arts
Waiting for acknowledgement...
my bots name is Arts. Can someone help me with this?

You probably did something wrong in your config file.

Check if your bot connects to a port (listen 3333 is the default).

If you already have a port set, then try to let the bot invite you for a dcc chat. This is done by CTCPing a chat request (cmd: /ctcp <botnick> chat). Keep in mind that when you use this option, you also have to give your handle to the bot (nick you used when you issued the hello command).
