hey, does anyone know how to make scripts in irc? if so, can you tell me? thanks much!!

Uhmm..that doesn't help. Lol, Unless you'd like to tell me exactly where to go, I have no clue. Lol. Sorry. =P but thanks for the help anyways. Any more? lol

Well, telling you how to make a script requires an answer that is beyond the scope of a single answer. mIRC's help files has most of the answers within. If you don't understand particular points in the help file then people here are usually able to help.

Making a good full script will take months, on and off, it's a big job.

I think the best way to get an overview of what is possible in mIRC would be:

When you're done going through all that, then the road is open for you, and time to start making little aliases and event scripts. You'll learn as you practice.

Also for even more detailed information about specific scripting constructions in the mIRC Script language I would recommend this site:

It contains many links that are all related to scripting.


As Watchdog stated: this place is also a huge resource for scripting and anything mIRC related. A lot of the stuff that I know now, simply comes from using the Search function of this message board.

Then finally, when you are in mIRC, type /help
