Forums Connection Issues Disconnection

When connecting from my home location I keep getting disconnected.

I have gone into Options and ticked reconnect on diconnect, though this does not seem to help.

When at another location i use, with the same lap top, it works fine.

Any ideas ?

it's hard to help if we don't know what the disconnection error message is - there are so many possibilities, guessing would be pointless!

Make sure you read this post as it contains information and links for various error messages. If you're receiving the common "Software caused connection abort" error message, then see this thread. If you're finding that you've been AKilled/Glined or Klined from a server/network, read the reason for the ban and go to the network's website to find contact emails or forms to fill in. mIRC is not directly affiliated with any one server, network or channel and therefore, we have no ability to remove bans of any description. Read this thread for more information regarding glines/klines/akills.

You may also want to use the Search feature with part of your error message as the search term. Expand to 'All Forums' and 'All Posts' for best results. I can't think of many error messages which have not already been covered on these forums!
