Forums mIRC Help mirc disappeared!!!

settings are set so if i minimize it goes to tray
and sometimes mirc disappears. How do i recover it?
when i do a ctrl alt del I can see it there its just not in the tray.
im using w98se btw

have you gone to: file>options>display>tray> and make sure you check "Place mIRC in tray when minimized

yes and i believe thats the problem
it doesn't disappear every time i minimize
but on occasion it does its still there just not in the try or on the program bar.

It's a bug I think. it's happened to me too. Very rarely though.

it can happend also if your explorer has crashed and/or has been restarted. In this case, some other icons in your systray may disapaerd.
