It's hard to explain why this bothers me so I will give you a series of events.
1. I start mirc and tile the windows so Status is the only open window and its full sized (but not "maximized")
2. I save the window state
3. I resize the main MDI window
4. I restart mIRC, and instead of being my saved size, its resized to fill the new MDI window.
While this might seem like a "feature" by detecting that it was filling the mirc window and re-adjusting to fill the new size, I usually do not even remember resizing it and I have to re-tile the window to make it pretty again.
update: I wrote a script that sort of fixes it, but I still think it was worth mentioning.
