Simple enough (the request, not necessarily the implementing of it).

Agreed, if something can be changed to customise mIRC to your own preference and it in no way effects others, people should be able to do it. I think italics might be a little subtle to be much use but I guess that's not a reason to not include it - bold and reverse is a nice idea. Guess it could make way for awful looking scripts, but there's enough of those around already!

My idea for italicized is like the way AIM does it.. It means away, or in the case of mIRC, idling in the room. Then I could use [K15][Italic] on the name..

The [Reverse] could be used for those that are on ignore lists, etc, so they stand out more.

The background I was thinking so that you could increase the number of groups overall.

Which is the whole idea behind it to begin with.

I had originally forgotten to include [U]nderlining, but then I thought about it.. I don't think it'd look right with underlining (but for those that want it, Underlining too)
