Hi,

Anyone of all your cool developers around in the world, (and around in this forum :P), which know/can tell,

Toolbar - Is that just the normal "Toolbar" control in VB ?
and, "Switchbar" what is that? That one cannot be a normal Toolbar control?

*nods* - From the versions.txt as of mIRC 6.1:

"31.Now using Visual C++ .NET 7.0 to compile mIRC."

Mentality,

I meant like:
Winsock, Timer, Textbox, RichTextBox, Toolbar, Statusbar... etc. the controls from toolbar (default in left) in VB 6.0, what one of them the Switchbar might be in... of such controls..

tidy_trax,

Okay, thanks, sure because I dont know much about Toolbar atm :-)

.. I may do some more experiments soon wink

actually the switchbar is a custom control. It does resemble a toolbar however it isnt.

The tolbar (while i cant prove it) i believe is a superclass.

If you dont already know a superclass is a new window class registered from an already existing one (toolbar in the case).

I could be wrong but i believe mIRC's toolbar does respond to at least some toolbar messages (i.e TB_*)

Hope this helps Have fun smile
