Ok, i couldet think of a short topic to explain this.
Basicly iv got a gamebot which i want to send text to channels, now the gamebot does most of its text through DCC Chat but it also sends some to its channel. Im basicly wondering what the best way to monitor it from flooding itself off the server. Now i could make the command it uses to message the channels have a timed variable increasing and if its too high then it stops, but is that the best way? im mostly i guess looking for opinions from scripters... if you even understand what im trying to do hehe.

Im not looking for anyone to write the script, just an idea of which would be the most effeciant way of having the bot not flood itself off the server. TY grin

that works for mirc script sending text? i thought that was all flooding coming in, not flooding going out.. and specially not out from scripts.

/help /flood

it works for incoming AND what you send to the server (ultimately to a channel)
