Forums Developers get mirc to add shortcuts to desktop & start menu?

ive been scripting for a while now, and Ive put together a script witha load of addons for a gaming network

Ive bundled it all together with mirc 6.14 into a winzip self-extractable

the onyl problem is, it wont add the usual start menu and destop shortcuts

does anyone know a fix for this?

Ive been trying everything ai can for the last 2 days and nothing can get around this problem

it wont add the shortcuts after its installed on a diff computer

use another self extracter/installer
imo the best ones are Mindvision VISE installer and Wise installer and Wise for windows installer

or just use WinRAR's self extractor, itz pretty good
btw Winzip's extractor sux^2 get ridd of it

What's wrong with Self Extractor? Sure it's not exactly a feature-bound programme, and doesn't add the desktop icon of the .exe file inside, but if all you want to do it pack up files, shift them somewhere and then unpack them again on a computer with no unzip support then Self Extractor is perfect for the task.

ive since seperated the scripts Ive written, and bundled those

it actually made things a lot easier in the long run believe it or not
